Leadership Vignette – Leadership Styles

This week the leadership vignette will explore eight leadership styles (Contingent, One-Best, Transactional, Transformational, Charismatic, Full Range, Balanced, and Principled). After looking through the leadership styles select two or three leadership styles/approaches that you feel best reflect your preferences and could possibly be your preferred leadership style in the future. Compose a reflective paper that includes the following:

Explain the two or three leadership styles you feel most aligned with.
Describe the major characteristics of the leadership styles that you prefer.
Explain what you might do to incorporate these leadership styles into your overall leadership style.
For each of the three scenarios below, elaborate on how you would handle the situation using your preferred leadership style(s);
One of the teachers in your environment is speaking negatively about a child to other teachers while conversing.
A parent is continually arriving late to pick up their child in your care.
A child is sent to your office daily for episodes of aggression and frustration in the environment.
